Many historians believe that the ancient origin of golf dates back to this roman game. Players would use a bent stick to hit a leather ball filled with feathers. They’d aim at trees and rocks. Seems…challenging.

SNL did a golf sketch.

My takeaways:

1. PETA must have been PISSED. Poor Fairway Fred!

2. I’m unbelievably biased and probably wrong, but I think Bogey Bois’ skits are better.

3. If I’m golfing with spectators, waivers need to be signed. Everyone is in danger when I’m on the teebox and I can’t shoulder that liability.

What do you usually do at the airport? Maybe grab something to eat, watch a movie, complain about the airline industry, or read a book (kidding, it’s 2024).

Well, what about golf?

Bangkok’s Mueang Airport has a golf course between its runways. It’s a 6,366 yard par 72 18-hole course. Might need to go to Thailand just for this.
