Happy Wednesday. The U.S. just pulled off the biggest final-day comeback in Presidents Cup history. The Internationals swept Friday foursomes 5–0, and Snedeker's squad went into Sunday at Medinah down 10.5–7.5. Then the Americans took 9.5 of 12 singles points and won 17–13, their 11th straight Cup. Rookie Jacob Bridgeman sealed it with a putt inside five feet against Min Woo Lee, which was also his first-ever Presidents Cup point. This is the same course where the U.S. blew a 10–6 Sunday lead at the 2012 Ryder Cup. Medinah giveth. Medinah taketh. ⬇️

It's Sunday singles on the par-4 14th, and Scheffler is 3 up on Nico Echavarria. A fan yells "Go Scottie!" in the middle of Echavarria's backswing. The drive sails right, his driver hits the turf, and the World No. 1 immediately turns on the gallery and tells them that stuff has no place in the game. Then he backed it up: a couple of shots later, he conceded Echavarria a 32-foot putt to halve the hole. Echavarria got his own revenge two holes later by chipping in from 64 feet on 16 and shushing the crowd. Scheffler still won 2 up. Sportsmanship: it's free. ⬇️

Tom Kim was the Internationals' best player at Medinah. He won 4 points from 5 matches, the first International to get to four since 2015. He beat Wyndham Clark 3&2 in Sunday's second singles match, then headed for O'Hare before anyone lifted the trophy. The reason is the Asian Games in Japan, which start today. South Korean men generally have to enlist by 28 and serve 18–21 months, and an Asian Games gold (individual or team) earns athletes an exemption. Kim is 24, and he missed an Olympic medal by four shots in Paris. Priorities. ⬇️
