⛳️ Hot Mics

Presented by:

Happy Wednesday. TGL hot mics captured Tommy Fleetwood revealing the "unbelievable" swing tip Butch Harmon recently gave him: "He wants me to stay high, hip back, close the door with my left hip and then turn and go onto it." The 2025 FedEx Cup champ shared the tip with Justin Rose during Monday's LA Golf Club match against Atlanta Drive GC, showing even Tour winners tinker with swing thoughts. Fleetwood's having a career year, winning his first PGA Tour title and now "courting fashion brands like he's Timothée Chalamet." Pros are Just Like Us™. ⬇️

👀 Scottie’s earnings are unbelievable

Scottie Scheffler's record 18-consecutive top-10 streak ended with a T-12 at the Genesis Invitational, but he earned $28,137,033 during the run—averaging $1,563,168.50 per tournament. His mark is six clear of Vijay Singh's 12 consecutive top-10s and unlikely to be eclipsed anytime soon. Only 65 golfers have made more money than Scheffler earned during this stretch for their entire careers. His T-12 payout at Riviera? $415,000. On the modern PGA Tour with LIV-flation purses, consistency can be just as lucrative as star power. ⬇️

🤔 Golf Image of the Year

Ben Griffin's umbrella got stuck in Riviera's range net after launching it to identify his wayward drive, creating the golf image of the year. Just six days after Viktor Hovland threw his umbrella into Pebble's 18th-hole tree, Griffin went full Hovland on the second hole—though the ball and umbrella weren't even close. A camera woman zoomed in confirming it was a Maxfli (Griffin might be the only tour player using one), granting him relief. He still made double-bogey six after missing green and failing to get up-and-down. Normal sport. ⬇️
