✈️ Plane makes emergency landing on course
A small single-engine plane made an emergency landing directly onto a fairway at the prestigious Riviera Country Club last Friday. The aircraft, bound for Santa Monica Airport just five miles away, touched down around 1 p.m. with three people aboard, all escaping without injury according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. The wild landing, captured on dramatic video, occurred at the world's 18th-ranked golf course, which will host both the 2026 Genesis Invitational and the 2028 Olympic golf competitions. The National Transportation Safety Board will investigate what caused this terrifying fairway intrusion. ⬇️
