🇺🇸 USA wins the Presidents Cup

And a DOG they were. Team USA took down the International team 18.5 to 11.5, securing their 10th Presidents Cup win in a row. That’s like really dominant. Prime Shaq type stuff.

But, how does it compare to the longest dynasties in other team sports?

• NBA: Boston Celtics won 8 straight NBA championships from 1959 to 1966.

• MLB: New York Yankees won 5 straight World Series titles from 1936 to 1939.

• NCAA: UCLA Bruins won 7 straight NCAA championships from 1967 to 1973.

• Cricket: New Zealand All Blacks rugby team has won 21 consecutive Bledisloe cups. They haven’t lost since 2003.

When you hear “deleted tweets”, what do you think of?

For me, the FIRST THING that comes to mind is Byeong Hun An.

The International team seems to be getting a littttle upset about never winning the Presidents Cup. It’s like playing your younger brother in pickup basketball. He stands no chance.

Here’s what happened:

1. Si Woo Kim mimicked Steph Curry’s “night night” celebration while playing against Xander Schauffele and Patrick Cantlay

2. Later, the PGA Tour Twitter shared this video of Wyndham Clark mocking Kim and his celebration:

3. Kim chirped back at Clark:

4. Wyndham responded with:

   • “Then there’s a guy who didn’t even have a tee time.” Boom. Roasted.

🌀 Augusta National DESTROYED in Storm

Hurricane Helene has ripped across the US lately, leaving devastation in its wake. And Augusta National, home of the Masters, was no exception. Take a look.

I have no doubt that it’ll be good as new come April. But in the meantime, what happened down south over the last week is no joke. Lots of people doing cool things to try and help out. For example, Caleb Pressley from Sundae Conversations is from Asheville, NC & raising money to help his home town.

If you’re able to help, you should. Scary stuff.

It’s getting lighter later. Darker early. I know you’re sad right now. Me too. AND, it’s the end of today’s newsletter. The only cure is to get out & play some fall golf.
