Last Starter: 85% of readers knew that Hideki Matsuyama won The Sentry tournament last week. He shot 35 under through 4 rounds, a PGA Tour record at The Sentry. But, it wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows for Mr. Matsuyama. He is in HOT water for endangering golf fans, with some calling for his suspension from the sport. See what he did ⬇️

⛳️ Make a Hole-In-One, Win $100,000

Everyone remembers Bryson’s viral hole-in-one challenge. Well, he’s back. And this time, he’s giving out $$$. He starts out by challenging a fan to make a 3 foot putt for $1,000. And the final challenge? A hole-in-one over Bryson’s house for $100,000.

Bryson is also giving $5,000 to five random people who like, comment, and subscribe on this video. So check out the video here and see if this lucky fan either 1) breaks all of Bryson’s windows or 2) walks away with life-changing money ⬇️

📝 TOURNAMENT RECAP

Crazy Finish at the Sony Open

Open shot, the fate of the universe on the line, the martians have the death beam pointed at earth, you better hit it, I WANT NICK TAYLOR.

All jokes aside, Nick Taylor won the Sony Open in a 2 hole playoff. The “shot” of the round was a chip-in eagle to tie the lead. Balls of steel. Watch the shot ⬇️

🎰 LOCK FACTORY

Vikings vs Rams

As the Sony Open came to a close yesterday, we have a chance to look back at the lock we gave out on Thursday. Russell Henley posted another great tournament at the Sony, finishing a bit weak but doing enough to come in T-10 for a +190 victory. We don't need to talk about the other two, as our longshots Daniel Berger and Doug Ghim fell apart after strong starts on Thursday. Overall, we still cashed the +190, so we hope you tailed.

Only one more Wild Card Weekend game tonight in Arizona, and there are two bets we absolutely love to start the week off hot. So place these bets, and don't worry about adding guac to your Chipotle bowl this week:

  • Puka Nacua Over 90 Receiving Yards (-110)

  • Rams ML (+120)

Regardless, we started posting on TikTok in 2020 and have grown the Bogey Bois account to over 418,000 followers. Here are our most viewed videos of all time:

Last Post-Round Interview: We asked how many beers is the optimal number to drink while playing golf. The most popular answer was 6, followed by 10+ and 4. Our opinion? We’ll turn to the science here, specifically the Ballmer Peak. The Ballmer peak is the very specific BAC level that confers to “superhuman” ability in tasks such as software development. We’d like to think it applies to golf as well. But, that’s if you’re trying to play well. Can’t go wrong with a little double digit (10+) day on the links.
