⛳️ Scottie Scheffler reflects
Happy Wednesday. Scottie Scheffler just delivered one of the most brutally honest takes about professional golf, admitting he "doesn't understand the point" of his relentless pursuit of victories. Speaking ahead of the British Open at Royal Portrush, the World No. 1 revealed the emptiness that follows even his biggest wins. "If I win, it's going to be awesome for two minutes. Then we're going to get to the next week," Scheffler said. "We work so hard for such little moments." The three-time major champion described himself as "kind of a sicko" who loves the work but questioned whether golf fulfills "the deepest wants and desires of my heart." His most telling example? Winning the Byron Nelson at home after working his entire life for that moment, only to think "OK, what are we going to eat for dinner?" minutes later. ⬇️

📰 GOLF STORIES
🤣 Chris Gotterup is having a week
Chris Gotterup just turned his Scottish Open victory into the perfect money celebration, posting a viral meme that says it all. After holding off Rory McIlroy to claim his $1.575 million payday, the 25-year-old took to Twitter with just one post—a video of former North Carolina A&T coach Sam Washington saying "Tell 'em to bring me my money." The celebration was absolutely perfect considering this single win earned Gotterup more than his previous 21 starts in 2025 combined, plus more than his entire rookie season last year. Along with the Genesis car that comes with victory, it's safe to say the young American is pretty excited about ringing that cash register for the first time in a big way. ⬇️
😢 Aaron Rodgers golf fan disasterclass
Aaron Rodgers just delivered a masterclass on how NOT to handle a young fan at the American Century Championship, turning what should have been a nothing moment into a viral controversy. As the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback walked to the next tee with drink in hand, a young fan shouted "you almost hit me, Aaron Rodgers!" Without even looking up, Rodgers coldly replied "almost doesn't count" and kept walking. While we don't know if Rodgers actually almost hit the kid or if it was just freebie fishing, his response was a terrible look that could have been easily avoided. A simple "sorry kid" or tossing him a tee would have made this a non-story, but true to form, Rodgers took the bait and gave the kid a lesson in horseshoes and hand grenades with half the gallery filming. ⬇️
New Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers almost hit a kid with his golf club and roasts him instead of apologizing:
Kid: "You almost hit me, Aaron Rodgers."
Rodgers: "Almost doesn't count."

🏆 Xander doesn’t know where his trophies are
Xander Schauffele just revealed he has no idea where his major championship trophies are stored, and honestly doesn't care to display them anyway. The reigning Open champion admitted his hardware is "probably in a bank vault" somewhere near his childhood San Diego home, while his wife Maya had the audacity to frame his Olympic gold medal photo in their gym. "She put it so high up I can't reach it—I have to get a ladder now, and it bothers me," Schauffele joked. The two-time major winner's trophy room philosophy is simple: "What am I going to do with them? Am I just going to go look at it myself? I don't want to walk into a trophy room, like, look how great I am." His one exception? ⬇️
Xander Schauffele says he doesn't keep any trophies at his house. As for his gold medal?
"I actually have no idea where that is, to be completely honest."
Why not?
"What am I going to do with it? I don't really invite people over to my house. Am I just going to go look at it
