Happy Thursday. Tiger Woods reminisced about Anthony Kim's LIV Golf Adelaide comeback win, saying "This kid hit it so good. He had so much natural talent. He could hit any shot he wanted." Kim won twice in 2008 at 22, went 2-1-1 at the Ryder Cup famously beating Sergio Garcia 5&4 without realizing the match ended, then vanished in 2012 after withdrawing from three straight events. "To see him struggle in life and didn't really want to play golf... for him to come all the way back, you just have to wrap your heart around it." ⬇️

👀 Jordan Spieth’s weirdest swing thought

Jordan Spieth revealed his weirdest swing thought came from his 2022 Pebble Beach cliff shot on the par-4 8th: "Let's not shift our weight forward or we might die." CBS analyst Colt Knost called it "downright terrifying" with a 68-foot drop—more than 11 Jordan Spieths. After opening this year's AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am with 66, Spieth recalled the moment where one slight stumble could've ended in tragedy. "We might die" might sound like exaggeration, but the angles showed how risky it actually was. That's a world we don't want to live in. ⬇️

🤔 Hovland’s umbrella failure

Viktor Hovland's drive lodged in Pebble Beach's iconic 18th-hole tree, prompting him to hurl his umbrella at it—which didn't dislodge the ball or bring down the tree. Video shows "a bunch of dudes standing there staring into a tree" while Hovland's caddie Shay Knight may have climbed up. Hovland returned to the tee, hit another drive, found the green from 16 feet, and two-putted for bogey. He shot even-par 72 finishing T-58 at six-under total. Oh, Viktor. Gotta love him. What a video it is. ⬇️
