Brooks Koepka left LIV Golf with one year remaining on his contract, mutually agreeing to part ways as he prioritizes "staying closer to home" with family. The five-time major champion missed cuts at three of four 2025 majors and finished 31st in LIV's individual standings after joining in 2022 for a reported $100+ million. LIV is down to Bryson DeChambeau and Jon Rahm as tentpole players. Koepka faces at least one-year PGA Tour suspension but could play DP World Tour in 2026. Mito Pereira retired from golf at 30 after being relegated from LIV Golf for 2026, announcing "my main desire is to step away from constant travel, return to Chile, and focus on my personal life." The Chilean is best known for blowing a three-shot final-round lead at the 2022 PGA Championship, finding water on 72 and making double-bogey to miss the playoff by one.
