⛳️ The tallest golfer in the world
Happy Wednesday. Former NBA 7-footer Yi Jianlian is competing in the Hainan Classic's 36-hole pro-am team event at Mission Hills, pairing one amateur with one pro. The former No. 6 overall pick (2007 Milwaukee Bucks) averaged 7.9 points and 4.9 rebounds over five NBA seasons before dominating the Chinese Basketball Association with six titles and three Finals MVPs. The 38-year-old avid golfer played the 2024 Volvo China Open Pro-Am with Haotong Li and attended the Players as a fan. That swing looks smooth—certainly better than fellow Chinese legend Yao Ming. ⬇️

Augusta National dropped a 90-second Masters teaser set to James Brown celebrating 90 years of magic—Jack's '86 charge, Tiger's 2005 chip, Rory's 2025 rollercoaster—sending golf fans into pure delirium mere hours after Cameron Young's Players victory. Will Rory repeat? Can Ludvig Aberg avenge his Players collapse? Will Scottie Scheffler shake off struggles or will Brooks Koepka announce his PGA Tour return with authority? The 90th Masters begins Thursday, April 9th. If this doesn't have you chomping at the bit, check your pulse. It's Masters season, babyyyyyy. ⬇️
🤔 Fringe tour pro life
Joel Dahmen perfectly summed up fringe tour pro life tweeting "From API and The Players to Ubering to a Monday qualifier #playbetter" just 48 hours after playing the PGA Tour's premier event. After T-6 at Farmers and T-9 at Cognizant got him into Arnie and the Players, consecutive missed cuts left him fighting for one of two qualifying spots (down from four in recent changes) at Southern Hills Plantation Club for the Valspar Championship. Dahmen's battled testicular cancer, anxiety, and alcohol struggles—a Monday qualifier won't daunt him. Things could be a heck of a lot worse. ⬇️
