⛳️ This guy stole $12,000 worth of golf clubs

Happy Friday. Korn Ferry Tour pro Michael Johnson impulse-bought a $20 Amazon training aid after missing a cut, proving even millionaire golfers are just like us when desperate for improvement. The 37th-ranked player on the Korn Ferry points list uses the cheap device to stay connected during wedge practice and control his wrist angles. His honest take? "I'm just a normal person like any other golfer. Just trying to get better." Tour pros really are relatable after all. ⬇️
After missing a cut earlier this year, @MikeJohnsonAU found this training aid online for $20.

If you’re new here, welcome to Bogey Bois Golf. 5 minutes of golf news that won’t put you to sleep every Monday, Wednesday, & Friday.
🔍 Today’s highlights:
⛳️ The Omega European Masters turned into a horror movie Thursday when apocalyptic fog made it impossible for pros to see flagsticks or even their own feet.
👀 Ben An compared Tommy Fleetwood's breakthrough win to "seeing your best friend get married but you are still single" after being left in the winless club.
🤔 Matthew Berman turned himself in nearly a year after stealing over $12,000 worth of golf equipment from a Connecticut pro shop.
👀 Own Your Edge
Meet the COOLSHOT 50i GII - the rangefinder changing how golfers see the course. While most rangefinders just give you yardage, Nikon delivers more: slope-adjusted distances, a DUAL LOCKED ON QUAKE feature to confirm you have ranged the flag, a mounting magnet for quick convenient use, and optics so crisp you’ll think you’re looking through a tour pro’s eyes.
People might think rangefinders are clunky, slow, or just plain inaccurate — kind of like using a ball marker the size of a poker chip. The COOLSHOT 50i GII sets a new standard; lightning-fast reads, ergonomic design, and Nikon’s legendary optics - all in one sleek device.
Whether you’re tracking pins on blind shots or dialed in from 220 out, this is the tech you’ll trust under pressure.
The difference isn’t subtle. It’s Nikon. ⬇️

📰 GOLF STORIES
⛳️ Fog delay at the European Masters
The Omega European Masters turned into a horror movie Thursday when apocalyptic fog rolled across the Swiss Alps course, making it impossible for pros to see past their shoelaces let alone locate flagsticks. Play was halted for several hours as the eerie fog bank completely obscured one of golf's most scenic venues at Crans-sur-Sierre. The contrast between Wyndham Clark's second and third shots showed the dramatic visibility changes within minutes. No supernatural monsters lurking, just the terror of three-foot putts you can't see. ⬇️

👀 Ben An’s perfect apology
Ben An delivered the perfect analogy after Tommy Fleetwood's breakthrough PGA Tour win left him as one of the last top players without a victory, comparing it to "seeing your best friend get married but you are still single." The South Korean, who won the U.S. Amateur as the youngest ever champion and has two DP World Tour titles, remains in the winless club despite his obvious talent. His Twitter reaction perfectly captured the bittersweet feeling of watching peers succeed while still chasing that elusive first win. ⬇️

🤔 This guy stole a lot of golf clubs
Matthew Berman turned himself in nearly a year after stealing over $12,000 worth of golf clubs and bags from Longshore Golf Club in Westport, Connecticut by breaking into the pro shop at 6:30 a.m. The 41-year-old Bronx resident was identified as a suspect after being arrested for similar golf pro shop burglaries across New York state. He couldn't post his $100,000 bond and was transported to court for arraignment, but the fate of the missing clubs remains unclear. ⬇️
